Nashville Pussy has always been known as a live band first, and a recording act second. That’s not a reflection on the songs, but just how exciting and unpredictable the Atlanta, Georgia band is once on stage. However, that’s all about to change with Get Some.

The band’s fourth full-length album reaches new heights for the Pussy with vocalist Blaine Cartwright’s wit at its sharpest and Ruyter Suys’ riffage at its most intoxicating. Tracks like the Van Halen-ish “Good Night for a Heart Attack”, the funky “Lazy White Boy” and a cover of Ike and Tina Turner’s classic “Nutbush City Limits” show Nashville Pussy are better than ever. But of course, it’s the live show that fans anticipate most, and Blaine, Ruyter, longtime drummer Jeremy Thompson and recently recruited bassist Karen Cuda are on their way to deliver their brand of pure, adrenalized party-time rock ‘n’ roll.
