Jon Jones plays his folk mastery at The Cove Inn on Tuesday, September 24th, 2024 from 5-8pm.

Jonathan has been playing live shows for over 25 years. Starting right out of high school, he had a residency at the Creek in Battersea and Wycotts in Harrowsmith. Jonathan’s love for music led him to a job in Renaissance Music where he met Tim Ryan and started a new musical venture, writing original material and adding harmony vocals to his sound. Jonathan would go on to perform with various other groups over the years including Troubadour, The Trinities (later names Virgil Caine), Sweet Grass Weavers, etc.

Currently, Jonathan is focusing on his solo performances, playing at many local breweries and wineries. His sound, singer/songwriter with sparse acoustic finger-style guitar, is strongly influenced by some of his favourite artists such as: Mandolin Orange, John Prine, Jackson Browne, Neil Young, Tom Petty, The Beatles…and more.

Jon will be playing a solo acoustic set of some original music mixed with cover songs from his favourite artists.
