Event Description

Welcome to the Pacific Rim Potters Autumn exhibition and sale where we celebrate locally designed and crafted ceramic art!
Pacific Rim Potters is a group of professional and semi-professionals, including award winning and internationally recognized artists who exhibit together twice a year. Each of the potters has developed an individual style, and perfected their own designs to produce a wide array of pieces, ranging from eggcups to sculpture. Colourful garden art rubs shoulders with unique pottery for the kitchen, elegant Ikebana vases, dramatic display pieces and the humble coffee mug.
Regular members Meira Mathison, Tony Mochizuki, Cindy Gibson, Ester Galac, Darrel Hancock, Nora Lewin, Peggy Elmes and Linda Vigliotti consistently put together classy and eclectic shows of functional and sculptural pottery encompassing a wide range of styles.
Joining the event for this show will be Debbie Elkins, Franziska Ditter and Barb Lovick. Debbie is a talented figurative artist who incorporates whimsical themes and imagery into her pieces. Franziska makes creative use of her photography background to embellish her functional work. Barb explores the lighter side of ceramics with seasonal themes.
This is a free wheelchair accessible event, with parking, complimentary refreshments and door prizes by raffle. Shoppers, browsers, old friends and new all welcome. You might even find inspiration for your next pottery class!
