Josef Mieto is a professional singer, guitarist and harmonica player currently residing in Victoria, B.C.
Born and raised in Northern Ontario by way of Ottawa, his unique sound conjures images of vintage Bob Dylan, Leonard Cohen, Cat Stevens and a hint of Eddie Vedder for good measure.
An accomplished songwriter in his own right, Josef Mieto has five albums of original music to his credit (Tone King Records/ Factual Records), he has toured and performed throughout Canada, Europe and Central America, and has been interviewed and played on radio stations across Canada (Including CBC Radio One) and in Europe.
Performing as a solo act since 2009, Josef Mieto has been entertaining thousands of enthusiastic listeners along the way with his imaginative and stirring takes on many folk, rock and blues classics, as well as his original music.
