What to say about this night… I don’t know. It’s a scene! An open mic in Vancouver where you can see real local talent just chilling. Alex Maher started this night about 5 years ago and it has been going strong since. It’s always a jam with some of the city’s best musicians and MC’s getting up to rock out with each other. The likes of Alex Maher, DNA6, Quest Poetics, Mario Vaira, Dosia, Aspire, Just to name a few!These guys will blow you away with looped beatbox tracks, layered with catchy guitar riffs, backed up with screaming sax solos and featuring real freestyle MC’s…
Not to mention that the drinks are cheap, the vibe is chilled and friendly, the peeps are funky east side cats and kittens for the most part and the room is cozy and warm. But don’t be fooled… This party goes off! Thursdays are basically the new Fridays anyways so dust off your dancing shoes and get down to the ANZA club TONIGHT!
