Event Description

Since 1990, the Festival d’été francophone de Vancouver, held in Canada’s third largest city, has become a not-to-be-missed event that brings Francophone vocal music to the West Coast. True to its artistic vision, the festival reserves a place for some of the biggest names in contemporary music and “chanson”.

Huu Bac Quach quintet from Montreal and JouTou Duo from Vancouver. Our artists in residence project this year will conclude with three free outdoor shows on June 23, 24 and 25, in particular thanks to new collaborations with the Vancouver Fraser Port Authority and Canada Place, as well as the North Shore Jazz Series of the Vancouver International Jazz Festival.

Free to public:
Enjoy the Festival Thursday, June 23 - Radio-Canada Stage
700 Hamilton Street, Vancouver - 4 p.m.
Friday, June 24 - Canada Place - Vancouver - 3.15 p.m.
Saturday, June 25 - Civic Plaza
