After two painfully long years of waiting for them to grace our fair city again, Calgary's Power Metal power-house Kobra and the Lotus are returning. Last time they were through, The Rickshaw Theatre hosted them supporting Fear Factory and Hate Eternal, now fresh off of supporting KISS and Def Leppard(they do get around don't they?) Kobra Paige and her boys are ready to take on a headlining position at Vancouver's new developing home for metal, the Red Room. Metal Archives proudly exclaims, "These guys are the real deal." The authority on heavy music RevolverMag says "The Canadian heavy-metal outfit’s dual-guitar riffing is vintage, its imagery is choice—lots of infected bullet holes, fortune-telling witches, and vows of retribution." and the list goes on and on.
