Event Description
The Victoria Django Festival kicks into high gear with international headliner The Gonzalo Bergara Quartet. A master Guitarist originally from Argentina now residing in LA, Bergara's group is at the forefront of the Gypsy Jazz genre. Innovative and Masterful! Also on the bill, Canada's top Djangologist Dennis Chang, The Marc Atkinson Trio, The Capital City Syncopators and Sound of Light Circus Act.Two Stages run all night...guests flow between the Opera House(concert) stage and the Hot Club featuring a full dance floor and cabaret seating!
All our Sponsors will be on hand keeping guests fed and refreshed and the swing dance association of Victoria will be teaching a short workshop at 630 and judging the dance competition - Always a crowd favorite!
