Event Description

Oil on canvas paintings on display by Victoria artist Paul Meier at Gorge-ous Coffee. The paintings will be on display until November 30.

Biography:
I stopped explaining my reluctance mid-sentence as we walked toward the vehicle. She didn't press me to continue. She seated me on the back bench and let me know there was space to lay down if necessary. She squeezed my arm tightly before releasing it. As we drove away I turned and watched the LeLeche League members walk up the stairs.

We spoke little on the drive; in her defense I didn't give much verbal response to her inquiries. To this day, though extremely thankful for the transportation (her mini-van provided me a rare sense of accommodation), internally I critique her musical taste. Upon arrival she navigated the van's rather complex sliding door and escorted me inside the clinic. She assuredly gripped my arm.
