The Art of the Trio Series presents renowned NY jazz pianist Larry Fuller with bassist Russell Botten and drummer Kelby MacNayr!Fuller has performed in the trio of the late, great Ray Brown, as a member of the Jeff Hamilton Trio, the John Pizzarelli Quartet, as music director/ pianist for jazz vocal great Ernestine Anderson as well as Stanley Turnetine, Phil Woods, Clark Terry, Herb Ellis and Nicholas Payton.

The Art of the Trio Series explores the infinite art of piano, bass and drums. Concerts bring together regional, national and international jazz greats for one-of-a-kind concert experience - up close and intimate, showcasing the breadth, soul and swing of the trio in jazz.
Pianist Larry Fuller has made a name for himself as one of the most swinging piano player in contemporary jazz. Drawing on the tradition of the greats Oscar Peterson, Monty Alexander and Ahmad Jamal, Fuller creates jazz that thrills his audience with surprise, groove, swing and virtuoso pianism. Fuller has performed as the last pianist in the trio of the late, great Ray Brown, as a member of the Jeff Hamilton Trio, the John Pizzarelli Quarte, as music director/ pianist for jazz vocal great Ernestine Anderson as well as stanley Turnetine, Phil Woods, Clark Terry, Herb Ellis and Nicholas Payton.
Bassist Russell Botten was a student of the late-great Ray Brown and has performed with Diana Krall, Earnestine Anderson, Clark Terry, Eddie "Lockjaw" Davis and Jeff Hamilton to name a few.
Drummer/ composer Kelby MacNayr is quickly becoming one of the country's top young drummers. Kelby has performed with many of jazz great artists including Ingrid Jensen, John Clayton, Geoffrey Keezer, George Colligan, Phil Dwyer and Ian McDougall. Kelby performs regularly at festivals and for radio and television across Canada and the US. The Kelby MacNayr Quintet is a renowned working group of national and international jazz greats, releasing their much-anticipated debut recording November 2013.
