Event Description
Soprano’s are hosting their second annual Battle of the Bands starting Jan. 17th 2013. This years prizes will be $1000 for 1st place plus a $500 + paid gig, $500 + a $500 paid gig for 2nd and a $500 paid gig for 3rd at Soprano’s and most of all bragging rights. $3500 in cash and prizes to be won. Plus 15 hours of Studio recording time at Eric Hogg Studios and a chance to have your song on CFUV. It is free to enter and no demo is required.Entry forms are available at Soprano’s or email sopranoskaraoke@shaw.ca .
To qualify your band must:
-All be 19 or older.
-Have at least 2 members.
-Provide name, phone number, and e-mail.
-Submit an input list with entry form by or before Jan. 17th to sopranoskaraoke@shaw.ca
Dates will be distributed on a first come, first served basis.
Finals will be held in Soprano’s on Thursday April 4th, 2013. The winner of each second round night will compete in the finals.
Bands: Are welcome to share one merch table per night.
