Event Description
Soprano’s are hosting their second annual Battle of the Bands starting Jan. 17th 2013. This years prizes will be $1000 for 1st place plus a $500 + paid gig, $500 + a $500 paid gig for 2nd and a $500 paid gig for 3rd at Soprano’s and most of all bragging rights. $3500 in cash and prizes to be won. Plus 15 hours of Studio recording time at Eric Hogg Studios and a chance to have your song on CFUV. It is free to enter and no demo is required.Accepting entries until we are full.
Entry forms are available at Soprano’s or email sopranoskaraoke@shaw.ca .
To qualify your band must:
-All be 19 or older.
-Have at least 2 members.
-Provide name, phone number, and e-mail.
-Submit an input list with entry form to sopranoskaraoke@shaw.ca
Dates will be distributed on a first come, first served basis.
Finals will be held in Soprano’s on Thursday April 4th, 2013. The winner of each second round night will compete in the finals.
Bands: Are welcome to share one merch table per night.
