KONGOS is a rock band of four brothers — Johnny, Jesse, Dylan and Danny Kongos. They grew up in London and South Africa and now write, record and perform in Phoenix, Arizona. With multi-million-seller South African singer-songwriter John Kongos as their father, they have been surrounded by music, studios and different cultures all of their lives. In 2010, KONGOS started Tokoloshe Records with their father John Kongos through which they released their new album "Lunatic" (2011 - SA only). Partnered with Just Music (Adele, Vampire Weekend, The Civil Wars etc.) for South Africa and with 3 hit singles, the album entered the Musica chart and is currently at #4 on the countrywide Look and Listen Chart. Their first single “I’m Only Joking” hit No. 1 on all three Tuks FM charts (Top 30, SA Top 10 and Top 20 Most Wanted) for several weeks in a row. The track received 15 weeks of heavy rotation on 5FM as well as many other stations in South Africa, and is featured on an SA Hits compilation, along with top SA acts, released by Just Music. The music video premiered on TV 5 on SABC3 and is in rotation on MKTV. The second single “Come With Me Now” broke into the Top 40 on 5FM, Top 5 on MFM, hit #3 on both PUK and TUKS FM and the third single "Escape" is currently at #9 on the 5FM Top 40.
