Event Description
ENIGMATICA ENTERTAINMENT & PEPPERPOT are proud to announce that we are bringing the Island yet another hype ass bashment. Come out and join us for “JUNGLE AFFAIR” featuring two of the Northwest’s wickedest Caribbean Soundcrews!Pepperpot is proud to bring to you some of the hottest emerging Caribbean Soundcrews in the Northwest. The emergence of various soundcrews in our community is integral to solidifying dancehall/reggae aspects of Caribbean Culture. It’s just too bad we don’t get to witness it more often like those in Eastern provinces and states across North America and other parts of the world. Soundcrews play an important part in getting new tunes and riddims played to the masses and exposing artists, similar to soundsystems of the past that still bring tunes to the reggae massive . There’s nothing like a soundcrew that can infiltrate a dancehall or club and get a place to shake, bump, whine and grine just like the two crews we have set to take over Lucky Bar on Friday, October 8th!
JUNGLE AFFAIR WILL SEE Vancouver’s freshest Caribbean Soundcrew NASTY JAG SOUNDCREW from Jamaica, Barbados, Trinidad and Canada MEET WYLD PHYAH SOUNDCREW (Seattle) who will be bringing a pair of selektahs from Jamaica and Grenada respectively. This is the first appearance by Wyld Phyah Soundcrew who have moved from the jungle in New York to the westcoast of the US
NASTY JAG SOUNDCREW IS BACK!!

As some of you may know, Nasty Jag Soundcrew has been tearing up the scene in Vancouver for while since their last visit to the Island. Their last show at Lucky Bar for the May Long Weekend Jump Up made waves all throughout the Northwest and east of the Island and the Lower Mainland! Selektahs such as Warrior Chin, Ms. Bajan, Illi Nastili, Robobese, Multiman and more helped make that night an unforgettable one. NASTY JAG SOUNDCREW aims to take North America and the Caribbean by storm!
Reggae, Dancehall, Soca and Conscious music are their thing! Now the crew is back for a second helping of Island party goodness to perform their best dancehall, soca and conscious riddims when they meet Wyld Phyah Soundcrew based out of Seattle.
Seattle's sound of the future. WYLD PHYAH SOUNDCREW are working all avenues in bringing the best in dancehall reggae and Caribbean music and culture to the Pacific Northwest and beyond. WPI is made up of five members from four countries that each brings a different dimension and unique experience to the crew. Wyld Phyah Int'l is Seattle's blue-collar work force. Each member brings to the table their own unique style and experience. To put it best, Wyld Phyah come in like Voltron - five individual warriors who form together to make one powerful force.
Cousins Nytro and Pyoneer started Wyld Phyah in Brooklyn, NY in the mid 90's as teenagers. They were highly regarded as an upcoming sound blazing up block parties in their neighborhood of Flatbush, before moving to Seattle in the late 90's were they linked up with Killay, Yaka Zulu and Didi.
Wyld Phyah Int'l currently is working on various projects behind the scenes to add flavor to the somewhat bland dancehall scene of Seattle.
