Event Description
Come one, come all! One night only! Creatures of the Night is proud to present an April Fools Die Ago - go acoustic sideshow!Featuring the self-proclaimed King of Fools himself, backed by a troupe of jesters vying for the title, it’s an appropriate night for shenanigans. Anything could happen.
Historic antics are sure to ensue when ORCHARD PINKISH and the HORNY HANDS take to the stage. Having taken his heart-felt acoustic covers, laced with witty, oft self-depreciating, interludes from the kitchen table to the stage, the multi-talented, multi-level Pinkish (Motorama, the Strugglers, Little Guitar Army), is joined for the first time by Mike Laviolette (Liquor Kings, Surf Messiahs, Cadaver Dogs) and Richard Katynski( Gold Stars Are For Suckers, Waltz Darling). His horny hands, if you will.
A veteran street performer by trade, the enigmatic EDDY DUTCHMAN (the Liquor Kings, Fabulous Wally’s) spits in the face of danger with death-defying stunts. From atop his “Ladder of Death,” or perched on a table wearing amp boots, Dutchman defies not only gravity, but all reason. A voice like Alice Cooper, a death wish akin to that of Evel Knieval, any show could very well be his last.
And introducing the RUSTIC SINNERS! Gracing the stage for the first time ever, this all-star country western project features Dirty Swagger (Dirty and the Derelicts, the Living Deadbeats) on banjo, with support from Eddy Dutchman on bass, Jamieson Cleary (Shockload, Vancouver Killing Spree) manning the kit, John Augustine (Dirty and the Derelicts) on vocals and guitar and Tracy Zubar on lead vocals. A departure from their usual repertoire, this is country with teeth. Come say you were there when it all began.
