Billy + Joe: Departing from their punk rock roots, Billy the Kid and Joe McMahon have joined forces to form the aptly titled Billy + Joe, a project consisting of acoustic folk melodies mixed with piano ballads. Billy hails from Vancouver, Canada and fronts Billy and the Lost Boys and Billy the Kid and the Southside Boys. Mcmahon is the front man of Fat Wreck Chords' Smoke or Fire. A chance encounter at one of Billy's shows in Joe's home town of Richmond, Virginia got the two discussing writing a record together. In the span of a week the they found themselves with half an album, shows booked across the globe and songs making their way across the Internet.

Billy the Kid returns home to Vancouver for the CD release of her new brand new full length, "Ours". While her debut EP "The Lost Cause" was produced by Raine Maida of Our Lady Peace, "Ours" was not only self-produced but also financed directly by fans. Don't miss Billy's only West Coast date this year, on the eve of her appearance as a speaker at this years' TEDx event.
