The Beauties take their infamously raucous show to the Railway! Touted by many as Toronto's best bar band, they play a rollicking set full of energy and fire.
"The Beauties are seasoned musicians. This much is noticeable from the strides they take when they walk out onstage. It becomes even more evident once they plunge into their roots/rock/country-tinged tunes, and storm through song after song with a raucous yet ebullient energy. In a set filled with hip-swinging beats, twangy guitars, and impressive instrumental interludes, it is hard to find a moment you don't want to revel in."

Freewheeling, fierce, sentimental and sexy, the Vancouver, B.C., quartet has earned its reputation as one of the finest acoustic roots groups around the old-fashioned way - they work their asses off. Since forming in 2001, the group has logged in thousands of kilometres criss-crossing Western Canada and playing to anyone and everyone willing to give it some love. With hooks, driving rhythms, adventurous steel guitar and mandolin solos, their songs feature beautiful three-part vocal harmonies in tight, concise under four-minute lengths.
