Ben Caplan & The Casual Smokers play folk/roots based music with heavy influence from other genres, like jazz, and Eastern European folk music.

They are a band like no other. With their unique instrumentation, strong songwriting, and powerful vocals, the band is taking off and has begun to soar, attracting ever more attention from the media, music blogs, the CBC, and music lovers around the world.

The ambitious band is in the process of expanding their fanbase, developing their debut LP, and touring. As the album is being crafted, they are playing concerts, private functions and festivals.
