ELECTRIC BLANKET is a conglomeration of new compositions by Daryn Cassie, Alice Hamilton, Lee Hutzulak, John Mutter, Wynston Minckler and Kevin Romain that use Claude Debussy's "Nocturnes: nuages" as raw material. These new compositions were musically “sewn” together, forming one longer, complex piece.
The Blanket Orchestra is a community-minded non-profit ensemble designed as a vehicle for musical improvisation and new compositions. The Blanket Orchestra also presents a series for experimental and improvised music called “onetwothreefourfivesixseven.”
