Event Description
For Immediate release-August 2, 2010
Vancouver’s JAR. return to the stage for a highly anticipated Halloween performance.
On Saturday, October 28th Vancouver’s JAR. will headline a Halloween performance at Envy Nightclub at 11920 70th Street in Delta, BC.
JAR. is back by popular demand with their first performance in several years and ready to reclaim the stage with the explosive and hard hitting sound that made them one of Canada's treasured rock bands of the past decade!
JAR's amazing catalogue of dynamic hit songs include, "Freeze Up", "Weapon",
" Shame", "Pull", and "Cavalry"! JAR. is now ignited and empowered with a
re born energy and intensity as they own up to their rightful place in the
hearts of their fans across the country.
JAR. was conceived in 1995 and is original members Garth Allen on Vocals, Rob
Wade on the Drums backed by Chris Weasel Gorst on Guitar (ex Kil
Rhythm/Holly McNarland) and Russ Bergquist on Bass (Dusk Machine, ex
Annihilator)
The newly formed JAR. band is a refreshed combination of technical players
and a necessary fit to produce the precise and driven rock JAR. is known to
deliver. Fans will discover JAR. replicated to the purest degree and new
listeners will appreciate being sonically moved and infected by an
incredible rock unit known as JAR.
Also at the event will be local favorites SAVENONE, with two enigmatic front men - Brooksy and Jay, Wingo and Rizzard cranking out searing guitars, GBob slinging low-end mayhem on bass, and Michael Collins pounding out earth-shaking beats with metronome-like precision, they are on the edge of something great.
Strong support for the show, will be covered by both Soundstem and SplitTRACT. Both bands have captivated local audiences with their melodic heavy tones and crowd-pleasing rock and the line up for the night is highly anticipated.
Tickets for the show will be available in advance through ticket web and can also be purchased at the venue. For more information please visit Magnetized Productions at www.myspace.com/magnetizedproductions
