has moved locations and is now a weekly friday!

same forward-moving bass-focused music format.
same thought put into sound system quality.
same new indigo evolutionary patterns being mapped. (yip hey)

with a new kinda rule-of-thumb that music past midnight will always be dance floor friendly. (don't worry, we're not talking club anthems here. we're only saying that IF anything really "leftfield" is going to happen - weird wonky stuff or some new fresh stuff that's just being tested out or really experimental dubtep, etc. - it'll happen earlier in the night)

it's now all happening @ 917 Main (formally the cobalt), newly renovated.

with lighta! sound members and a healthy variety of locals, all in extended rotation.
(another rule of thumb is: never the same line-up twice, keep it fresh!)

and regularily (twice a month-ish) featuring out-of-town talent as well.

nights with all-locals : $5 before 11pm / $8 after 11pm
nights featuring out-of-town talent : cheaper before 11pm / never more than $15 after 11pm

keeping pace with an amazing opening night, while fine tuning the details, and
happily presenting another diverse & quality line-up, from very start to finish.

starting ssstraight at 10pm, OOKPIKK (from victoria) will be rocking an all-hardware live set, playing around with his take on sloppy wonky broken beats and dubstep-ish feelings. KUMA, who's been quietly building a tasteful catalog of vinyl and digital releases, will be dishing out his own unique take on what folks call "bass music". come midnight, CALAMALKA will be mixing up a bunch of brand new home-grown freshness with some other woofer-friendly goodness. and rounding off the night with the shuffle and shake of PHOWA's brand of post 2-step, idm and dubstep influenced whatever-you-call it. deep and colourful vibes.. yes.
