Early show 8-11pm sharp / Purchase advance tickets online @ www.imuproductions.comNINJASPY traverses extremes both fierce and melancholy, creating manic and maniacal raw live shows drawing from genres including ska, funk, grunge, reggae and post hardcore. They aim to engage their audience in a spectrum of styles by combining explosive performances with unique and challenging music in a mission to eradicate narrow mindedness and seek self knowledge. Over the years their ideas have broadened to address many social and world issues, making the content of Ninjaspy’s music both relevant and engaging to those who seek insight through poetry and percussive politics. http://www.ninjaspy.net
FAKE SHARK - REAL ZOMBIE! - Since hatching less than three years ago, Fake Shark - Real Zombie! has emerged as one of the West Coast's most lethal weapons, mixing screamo vocals, spooky ska, off-kilter metal, gang vocals and whatever else is necessary to achieve their galvanizing, electrifying ends. The group's sound has earned it opening slots for acts like Mindless Self Indulgence, the Klaxons, Test Icicles and Genghis Tron, where Fake Shark's polarizing show leaves audiences asking whether they've just witnessed the saviours of new millennium rock or if they should call a lawyer. http://www.myspace.com/fakesharkrealzombie
MAN MADE MOUNTAINS - With feet planted firmly in primordial metal, Man Made Mountains blows the lid off the Mixmaster with an aural load of crunchy riffs, floaty keyboards and dual vocals pureed into a diverse blend of classic and progressive metal. The band is a genre jumping powerhouse with hints of tribal death metal, alternative rock reminiscent of Jane's Addiction, and a dash of psychedelic rock similar to early Pink Floyd. Their massive riffs and pounding rhythms are loaded with energy and aggression, yet there's plenty of industrial, prog, gothic and groove elements to be heard as well as moments of stark tranquility. http://www.myspace.com/manmademountainsband
