Timelines: A Jazz Panoramawith the Vancouver Community College Jazz Orchestra and "Pre-Bop" Jazz Combo
Talented students from the VCC Music program present an evening of jazz ranging from the classic sounds of New Orleans and swing by the "Pre-Bop" Jazz Combo to exciting big band music by the VCC Jazz Orchestra.
Both groups will play compositions made famous by Duke Ellington, Stan Kenton
and Count Basie along with arrangements by director Alan Matheson that
feature VCC's many outstanding student instrumentalists.
This will be a fun evening that will satisfy any jazz enthusiast!
