Event Description

. Friday, June 29th IMU presents CROP CIRCLE, GUITARSENAL + The ANGER! The POWER! The FURY! AND The FILTH! @ The Buffalo Club, 1161 Granville St. EARLY SHOW: Doors 6pm . Show 7pm / $10

CROP CIRCLE - "The Crop Circle recording is going amazing. Very Sabbath meets Screaming Trees. That's the best I can describe it. Very raw. Very honest. Sean McCormick is the best singer I've yet to record. Just a fucking powerhouse!!! Can't wait for you to hear the new Crop Circle record once it's finished." -Todd Kerns, producer of Crop Circle's forthcoming album "Come Inside"

GUITARSENAL's heavy instrumental rock sound is influenced by classic hard rock bands such as Black Sabbath, Motorhead, Metallica, Pantera, Jimi Hendrix, Slayer, Led Zeppelin, Alice in Chains, Nirvana & AC/DC. Corrupted by metal and turning to guitar to express his creativity, founding member Kevin Wood found himself some willing participants in his dark muse. Come on out and find yourself uncontrollably banging your head in time to the one and only Guitar Arsenal!

The ANGER! The POWER! The FURY! AND The FILTH! - Everyone's getting sick of white belts, emo girl jeans, and crappy indie haircuts... too much shoegazing, not enough shit-kicking -- too much whining and not enough rocking! And thus was born The Anger! The Power! The Fury! The Filth! Four chords, eight balls, and an ongoing mission to spread the rock'n'roll word across the rock'n'roll world courtesy of East Van's most enjoyably explosive party-rock quartet. With a common love of stripped-down, punchy rock music designed to get the blood pumping and the sweat flying, no stubby beer bottle will be left undrained. What more could you need?
