THE CRAZY B*TCH TOUR CONTINUESBUCKCHERRY IN CONCERT
TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 13TH AT PLUSH NIGHTCLUB IN VANCOUVER
Tickets on sale for $27.50 at all Ticketmaster outlets
Tattoos and taboos and sex and rock & roll at its swaggering finest. 99.3 The Fox & Rock.It Boy Entertainment takes pleasure in presenting the one and only BUCKCKERRY in concert on Tuesday, February 13th at PLUSH NIGHTCLUB in the Plaza of Nations, 750 Pacific Boulevard in Vancouver.
Explosive singer Josh Todd and guitarist Keith Nelson recently put the band back together for the love of rock & roll. They recruited guitarist Steve D, drummer Xavier Muriel and bassist Jimmy Ashhurst and then BUCKCKERRY recorded its third album in only fifteen days. When they released the album, entitled 15 (Eleven Seven Music/Atlantic Records), in April of 2006 no one had any idea that nine months later the lead single “Crazy Bitch” would be nominated for a Grammy Award (Best Hard Rock Performance) along with superstars like Nine Inch Nails, System of a Down and Tool.
The song was based on Paris Hilton and her exploits and has itself spawned legends and controversies of its own with various versions of the song being edited and censored for good taste and all kinds of trouble over the videos - including a lawsuit against the band. It’s a rocker’s dream – beautiful women, sex and debauchery coupled with over-the-top live concerts.
BUCKCKERRY had its first brush with success when its self-titled debut album, driven by the hit single "Lit Up," went gold in 1999. They released Time Bomb in 2001, which yielded more radio hits like "Whiskey in the Morning" and "Ridin'." Their record label underwent some changes after that second album and stopped supporting the band, which resulted in a four year-hiatus. But the wait was well worth it because BUCKCHERRY is back and better (and badder) than ever before.
99.3 The Fox & Rock.It Boy Entertainment presents BUCKCHERRY on Tuesday, Feb 13th at PLUSH NIGHTCLUB situated at 750 Pacific Boulevard in Vancouver (phone 604-780-5485) and is located in the heart of Plaza of Nations, adjacent to B.C. Place and GM Place. Tickets are on sale at all Ticketmaster outlets for $27.50. Doors at 8 p.m.
