How to get there: By bus: 135 SFU goes express straight up Hastings, and you can catch it at key intervals such as Main, Commercial, Nanaimo, PNE, etc. By skytrain: Millenium line, get off at "Production Way/University" and get on 145 SFU, a shuttle that takes you right up the hill.
