Victoria Festival of Authors is Vancouver Island’s largest, and liveliest, celebration of books and book lovers. For six years, VFA has hosted authors from across Canada, and we've welcomed you to join us for a celebration of reading and writing. Our seventh annual festival, from September 28-October 2, 2022, will be much the same. As with last year, our festival will be a hybrid, offering in-person programming of regional authors, most offered by livestream for those viewing from home, as well as free virtual programming of authors from around Canada. Please join us for discussions and readings from exciting new voices in Canadian literature, as well as some familiar favourites like Jennifer Egan, Bob McDonald, Tolu Oloruntoba, Shelagh Rogers, Yasuko Thanh, and Josh Whitehead.
