PINK FLOYD ANIMALS TRIBUTE

PINK FLOYD ANIMALS TRIBUTE - From their first Syd Barrett-led psych-pop record to their concept albums and elaborately presented live shows of the 1970s, Pink Floyd were space-rock pioneers who reached unprecedented heights of commercial and aesthetic success. PINK FLOYD ANIMALS TRIBUTE performs the entire ANIMALS album, which was released in 1977 and inspired in part by George Orwell's classic novel, "Animal Farm," with Waters' anthropomorphizing humanity to show the dehumanizing side of capitalism. ANIMALS divides humans into three categories -- dogs, pigs and sheep -- and features each classification in song. The dogs are merciless opportunists, grasping for success at any price; the pigs are pathetic, self-righteous tyrants; and the sheep are the mindless followers, being used by the dogs and pigs.
