Sonny Slide Maddams

Sonny Slide is a musician from Kingston Ontario. He has been playing music over 55 years, specializing in roots and blues.

Sonny performs his music on National Resophonic guitars, acoustic guitars, banjo and dobro.

Sonny’s music goes back to the blues masters of the 1920’s and 30’s such as Robert Johnson, Bukka White, Blind Willie McTell, Blind Boy Fuller and many others.

His repertoire also includes contemporary blues as well as originals.
