Originally a watercolourist, I became enamored with oils in 2019 and have been happily immersed ever since! I love the way light and dark are so easily manipulated with oil paint, and I continue to learn more with every painting.
I choose subjects randomly but have enjoyed painting commission portraits in the last 2 years. I love painting people and can swing widely from hyper-realistic to soft, almost fairytale-like depictions.

I've been a member of the FCA for several years, and this year joined the Victoria Chapter. I am also a member of Studio 30 Painters, and the Saanich Penninsula Arts & Crafts Society. I paint regularly with a group of like-minded artists - Platinum Painters, Visual Artists.
