since circa 1982
Pierre, Daniel and Louis Schryer were born in 1968 in the Sault. Their family is of French Canadian descent and making music together was an important part of their growing up. Their sister Julie's solid piano accompaniment added to the group and they began competing in fiddle competitions and moved on to performing as invited guests on national television and radio. Recording: "Pierre, Daniel, Louis: The Schryer Triplets" (1982) with Julie Schryer (piano), Kim Brandt (bass), Ron Dann (pedal steel), Claude Desjardins (drums).
