THE MATTCOUGHLIN BAND takes you on a musical ride through bits of funky rock and roll, soulful-folky country grooves, and unrestrained, smokin' sexy vocalizations. The gigantic sound that plays in your head long after the music stops is fueled by only four men: Matt Coughlin (lead vocals & rhythm guitar), Phil O'Sullivan (telecaster), Sam Collins (electric & upright bass), and Dalton "Dizzy D" Shotwell (drums). Each member spent years at the school of their choice to harness the skills in their respective areas that now add to this professional rock & roll band. Hailing from Tacoma and Seattle, THE MATTCOUGHLIN BAND gathered from different parts of the west. Growing up in Bozeman Montana, Matt brings his small town style to this northwest metropolis, and blows away the big city folk with a voice that is unparalleled. Matt met up with Sam Collins (Wenatchee, WA) and Dalton Shotwell (Grass Valley, CA), and formed the original MATTCOUGHLIN BAND in trio form.
