When you think of the Vancouver BC based SPREADEAGLE you think of one of the loudest bands to grace us with their head-banging, rock n roll presence in North America by far. The band was formed in early 2000 when brothers and guitarists extraordinaire Donnie James Rio (Chris Dyck) and Mattias Stabbs (Matt Dyck) decided it was time to play rad music how they want and when they want. Throughout the life span of 8 years, SPREADEAGLE has gone through some member changes and they have now found the basis of this massive force of mystery that is headed by Front man Vocalist/Songwriter Juan Badmutha (Telford Germyn), Guitarist Kenny Savage (Kenny Cook), Vocalist/Songwriter and Bassist, Boon (Aaron Gustafson) and Drummer, Dana (Jason Dana). Their self-financed debut album, that was self-titled SPREADEAGLE was released in 2003 and quickly became a favorite among the hard rocking crowd of the lower mainland. It was the song titled Blackout that put SPREADEAGLE on the map and allowed them to create a music video to express the in your face lyrics.
