Jennifer began performing at folk houses in Korea while working as an English language teacher. Despite a language barrier, she was able to communicate easily through a shared love of music. In 2001 she joined J’Accapella, a Vancouver-based vocal trio. Jennifer now calls Victoria her musical home. In addition to writing her own songs, Jennifer has collaborated with local Victoria band Barley Wik, co-authoring two songs on their latest CD Beyond the Down.
Jennifer's influences include John Prine, Michelle Shocked and Dar Williams.
