K'Naan said, it's like you spend so many years building this castle, this home of music, that you strive to make perfect. The thing is, you always know that you may never get to live in it. So I asked myself, If I knew no matter how hard I tried I would only be second best, would I still do it? Well....yea. Absolutely.





SCRAM + THE FIRST TEAM consists of four members. SCRAM, an emcee who has been plying his craft for over 10 years in the underground west coast hip hop scene, touring the country and co-founding the longest running freestyle cypher in BC, Outright Cypher. Our DJ, ARSON ILL helped him co-found the cypher almost ten years ago. They've come back together with the help of two of the most beautiful voices to come out of the city in an eon, KADY SAVARD and DANIELA JACKSON. With their powers combined they plan to create a music that's soulful, in-your-face and brimming with the vibe of the coast they inhibit.
