The Raconteurs

All it took was the writing of one song to inspire the formation of The Raconteurs, a new band put together by old friends Jack White and Brendan Benson. That song, the current radio hit “Steady, As She Goes”, came together for White and Benson while writing together during breaks from their respective. After enlisting the aid of the rhythm section of garage rock band The Greenhornes, The Raconteurs were born, and a debut has emerged. That record, Broken Boy Soldiers, and songs like the explosive “Store Bought Bones” prove The Raconteurs is more than a sideproject —it’s a cohesive rock ‘n’ roll unit with passion, tunes and talent to burn.
