In The City Of Sleep is the adventurous and unpredictable second full length from The Fever that marks an exciting departure from their 2003 debut Red Bedroom. The band's unfettered imagination has created a unique world of dark visions and strange fantasies with songs that are at turns melodic and menacing, gritty and grandiose, and emotional and literate. In this cinematic 16 track odyssey The Fever (vocalist Geremy Jasper, guitarist Keith Stapleton, multi-instrumentalist J. Ruggiero and drummer Achilles Tzoulafis) mix up their love for junkyard clank, Sun Studio reverb, Stax abandon, Fellini-esque circus music and 50's noir to create an intense and mysterious landscape somewhere between the nightmare rock n' roll of The Bad Seeds and the Beach Boys' lullabies of lost innocence.
