Hawthorne Heights

In just two years, Hawthorne Heights has staked its claim as one of the leaders of the new rock scene. The quintet’s 2004 Victory Records debut, The Silence in Black and White, received gold record status last summer and continues its march toward platinum, supported by non-stop touring (including a stint on last summer’s Warped Tour, television appearances and massive video support from MTV, Fuse and online giants Yahoo! Music and America Online. The DVD ‘This Is Who We Are’, featuring live footage of this dynamic young band, was released earlier this year, setting the stage for the recently released If Only You Were Lonely. A remarkable achievement, the group’s sophomore disc was produced by David Bendeth (Breaking Benjamin, Towers Of London) and showcases the band is growing by leaps and bounds. If Only You Were Lonely tests the boundaries of the emo and screamo music genres, adding deeper and darker layers of guitars (the band boasts three guitarists) and a more diverse selection of material.
