Kent Laforme

I work exclusively with stone as that is my connection to the earth. Sculpture is my connection with myself. I'm interested in the evolution of stonecarving from ancient Buddhist sculpture to Michelangelo, to Noguchi. My work uses the energy of the material and inherent characteristics of the stones in abstract sculptures.
