About Ken - Shorter Version 1983 Started freelancing part time as a commercial illustrator, Victoria BC. 1985 Created Artech Graphics Ltd. and became a full time illustrator, Victoria BC. 1987 Moved to Vancouver to continue as a freelance illustrator. 1989 Started a part-time career as a fine artist working en plein air in oils. 1990 Co-created "The 2 1/2" with painters Andrew Wooldridge and Marie Stevens. 1991 Started gallery exhibitions with the other members of The 2 1/2. 1992 Moved back to Victoria BC and continue painting, exhibiting and freelancing. About Ken - Longer Version 1964, in Victoria BC Canada… that’s where it all started for me, and by the age of 2, I was already working towards my career as a visual artist. At the age of 16, I found myself picking up the odd illustration job. By 1984, I took on the role of ‘professional freelance illustrator’, working in Victoria for a couple years, then moving to Vancouver and continuing my freelance adventure.
