alli and awna decided to join forces a short time ago. they crossed paths over the years in different projects they worked in,(po'girl/barley wik/rae spoon) before realizing that they must play together.
since they decided to announce salt to the world in the spring of 2005.
salt has released a five song EP, toured accross north america. were asked to play their first canadian music festival (blue skies) and toured for two months all accross italy.
they are now laying low for the winter and heading into the studio to record their first full-length LP. which will be released in the summer of 2006.
