My Darkest Days

Label: 604 Records
In 2010, Norwood, Ontario band My Darkest Days became legends throughout the exotic world of g-strings ‘n’ pasties thanks to the song “Porn Star Dancing,” the #1 charting strip club anthem from their first album.

The band’s second album, Sick And Twisted Affair, means to bring the listeners along for the band’s ride through arenas, bars and gentlemen’s clubs. Heavier, faster, and darker, the new album captures the soaring highs and uncomfortable lows that come with being a hard-touring, hard-living rock band.

So why are these good Canadian boys getting all dark and dirty in the first place? Getting kicks under the sheets has something to do with it, but being more badass on stage was also part of the plan. My Darkest Days have done shows with the likes of Sick Puppies, Papa Roach, Buckcherry, Seether, Stone Sour, Alice Cooper, System Of A Down and Linkin Park and wanted to hit it harder and louder in front of audiences.

The band’s four members are also working hard to appeal to a different type of audience — the online one. My Darkest Days are extremely plugged in with their quarter million Facebook and Twitter fans. Each band member makes a point to check in with their people regularly.” Don’t be surprised if that community grows even larger in the coming weeks and months. With the undeniable good times of “Casual Sex,” a slot on the biggest tour of the spring with Nickelback, Bush and Seether, as well as a March headlining tour of their own, My Darkest Days will be both playing for, and maybe with, lots and lots of appreciative hard rock fans.
