Recorded in his Vancouver, Canada home, Pedwell sang of events and emotions that were real. "I'd still say that I Soar is the quintessential Pedwell album, simply due to the fact that the guy is literally crying in half the songs" said Lee Terfloth, former manager and long-term friend. The release and promotion of Pedwell's first effort, caught the attention of another performer: singer..songwriter..pianist Matthew Presidente.
