With Divine Brown, it's all about voice. Bend a note, extend a phrase or scat, all within her incredible five-octave range. When Brown belts out her typically tender soul and R&B numbers, it is as clear a partnership of soul, pop and jazz. Her pipes are the product of another time period when vocal chops really mattered. Divine is currently working on a new album, which will be released prior to her return to the West Coast.
