About

the BTUs

since circa 2002
One Btu equals approximately 778.169 foot pounds, 1.055 056 kilojoules or 0.293 071 watt hour.
Four BTUs equal a Rock n’ Roll nuclear explosion.

When the BTUs aren’t jetting their fans to their favourite rock n’ roll destinations, they are playing an electric, glam-infused, ass-kicking, 70’s power pop rock extravaganza. Feather boas and glitter cat fight with leather and vinyl to backstop gang vocals and the sweetest harmonies.

The BTUs owe their existence to the very gods of rock n’ roll: Bowie, T-Rex, The Ramones, The Dead Boys, and the ever-immortal Rocky Horror Picture Show.

Their rock n’ roll pedigree infamous, their songs inspired, their presence electric, The BTUs are burning a new hole in rock n’ roll.
