Pillow Talk Trio

The Pillow Talk Trio developed out of an appreciation for singer-songwriter and American folk musics, as well as a collective interest in exploring different methods of interpreting form, tonality, and improvisation. The music is intimate and spontaneous, influenced by the small ensemble work of Jimmy Giuffre and Ornette Coleman. Pillow Talk Trio is Emma Postl (voice), Lyle Hopkins (bass), and Stefan Thordarson (violin)
