Steve Mathieson

I am a proud Canadian and have been singing and entertaining for most of my life, starting from when my dad turned me on to The Inkspots at a young age.
My inspiration and style is derived from talents like Neil Young, Bruce Springsteen, Ottis Redding, Wilson Picket and Tom Petty - just to name a few.

I have been involved with many different projects over the past 10 years. Besides writing over 40 songs, I have been performing as Rod Stewart and Tom Petty with different tribute artists such as Mick Jagger, Cher, Elvis, Meatloaf and many more.

For the past year, I finally managed to have some of my favourite songs recorded and produced with the expertise of Pim Bouwens. The 5-song debut EP was written by me and produced, engineered, mixed and mastered by Pim Bouwens in Hallbouwens Studio in Port Coquitlam, BC.

Now I am putting together a band to play my original tunes live. I am still looking for band members to start performing, so if you are interested, let me know.
