A Classic Education

A Classic Education come from Bologna, Italy. Part Canadian, part Italian. The band has been going since 2007. Much has happened since. Formed by Canadian singer and guitarist Jonathan Clancy and his Italian mates Luca Mazzieri. Paul Pieretto, Giulia Mazza, Federico Oppi and Stefano Roveda. Their music is a mix of dreamy guitars, sixties melodies, psych-pop, garage and classic songwriting. The band has put out releases on Bailiwick, Holiday Records and now Lefse Records. Their last release is Hey There Stranger, an EP on California label Lefse. This collection of songs has gathered praise from Spin Magazine to Gorrilla Vs Bear to The Fader and Brooklyn Vegan.
