About

Glorious Janitors

In a world of pop-encrusted radio waves and air-brushed, 30 billion dollar rap music videos, the Glorious Janitors suddenly exploded onto the music scene at the dawn of the millenium. The sheer sonic force of this event is rumoured to have blown Justin Timberlake's face off, whereafter his crack team of surgeons had to use 43 pounds of plastic to re-create his visage.

Disgusted with the likes of boring new rock and cookie-cutter pop, the Glorious Janitors quickly set about bringing back the hard rocking, fun music that they so badly missed in today's bands. Combining the complex song structures and epic metal feel of Iron Maiden with the balls full-on driving force of Motorhead, and adding fun, cheesily-dark lyrics about vampire slaying and such, the Janitors have created a powerful blend of genres guaranteed to rock you. Complex yet not overly technical, the Janitors strike a balance between the explosive energy of punk and the moving power of epic metal to create a sound that both pays tribute to the old gods of metal and strikes out in a new, fresh direction of rock.

Lyrics from the Theme of the Glorious Janitors put it best: "we're the Glorious Janitors, the stupendous, fabulous Janitors, music is our only goal, we're here to save rock and roll!"
