About

Susan Galbraith

Susan was born on May 13, 1986 in Bellevue, WA. Growing up in the small town of Kirkland, her passion for music started at a very young age. All throughout her scholastic career, she expressed her love of singing through school choirs, events, and local performances. By age 14, she became the lead singer for a non-profit high-energy performance group by the name of Generation X. The group toured the state of Washington promoting positive choices in the lives of young people for years. Attending Washington State University, Susan began getting involved in music right away, joining Crimson Revue, another small performance group that touched on all styles of music and choreography, as well as becoming an active member in the campuses gospel choir, God’s Harmony. She has also made appearances in local talent shows such as Gimme the Mike, a live televised singing competition broadcasted from Spokane, WA. Ringing in the year 2008, Susan performed as the headliner for a blow-out New Years concert celebration in one of downtown Seattle’s hottest dance clubs, Neighbors. She also performed new original material at Benaroya Hall, for Unsigned Hype Northwest, performing for a crowd of supporters, record labels, and industry executives. Susan has been greatly influenced by singers such as Lauryn Hill, Martina McBride, India Arie, but mostly, Whitney Houston. She loves people, sports, and being a Seattle native, adores coffee. She graduated with a BA in English and continues to write and perform music as much as possible.
